ENTERTAINMENT and communications chain Virgin Media is to open a new store in Edinburgh.
The firm has agreed a ten-year lease for the property on Hanover Street, previously occupied by women's clothing store Elvi.

The store has 1,096sq ft on the ground floor and 446sq ft at basement level.

Stuart Moncur, Head of Cushman & Wakefield's Edinburgh operation, which struck the deal, said the firm would pay annual rent of £110,000.

He added: "Despite tough market conditions we were delighted to secure a new tenant within a very short time scale."
