Online flights group bins float

CHEAPFLIGHTS, the online travel comparison group, has scrapped its plans to float on the stock market, blaming price and "market conditions".
Last May, the company hired a bank to explore a possible initial public offering (IPO) as well as possible stake sales to private equity or strategic investors.
John Clare, executive chairman, said: "In light of the contrast between market conditions and our continuing strong momentum, we decided to conclude our process for the time being".
