BBC apologises for missing data

THE BBC has apologised after a memory stick containing details of hundreds of children who applied to take part in a TV show was stolen.
About 250 children responded to an appeal for Gastronuts. The stick was stolen from an employee of Objective Productions, the company behind the show.
