LEADING electrical specialist retailer Comet is to open a refurbished store in the Capital, creating 20 jobs.
The company is to move into a unit at Fort Kinnaird. Among staff that it is currently recruiting are full-time, part-time and weekend front of house customer associates.

Jim Clapperton, the store's manager, said: "Comet prides itself on giving great advice and we're looking for colleagues who are as passionate as we are about customer service."

In March, Comet owner Kesa Electricals said the chain had seen like-for-like sales rise by 0.4 per cent in the year to January 31.

It said sales of white goods, such as fridges and freezers, had been weaker during the second half of last year, although there had been strong demand for laptops and flat-screen televisions.
