ANN Gloag, the Stagecoach tycoon, has been given the go-ahead to build a house in an area of "great landscape value" in spite of strong protests from neighbours and heritage societies, it was revealed yesterday.
Ms Gloag was refused permission to build a bungalow on land she owns near her home, Kinfauns Castle, but she appealed and the government overturned the decision.
