A PLANE had to make a priority landing at Edinburgh Airport after a passenger was hit on the head by a champagne bottle.
The victim, from Edinburgh, was in his seat on the easyJet flight when another passenger opened an overhead locker and the bottle fell on his head.
The 4pm flight on Thursday from Stansted made a priority landing. The injured passenger was taken to hospital by ambulance but released later.
