EMBATTLED supermarket chain Morrisons wants to hire Lloyds TSB's financial director as one of its four non-executive directors.
The group is hoping to secure Helen Weir in the next week, although it is not yet a done deal, according to the Financial Times.

Investors have called on founder Sir Ken Morrison to accelerate the rate at which independent non-executive directors are appointed.
