Profits reflect badly on Mirror

DAILY Record and Sunday Mail publisher Trinity Mirror warned today that profits for the year are likely to fall ten per cent lower than expectations as advertising conditions worsen.
Advertising revenues for its UK nationals, which include the Daily Mirror, are expected to fall 6.1 per cent in the current year, but its Scottish nationals are expected to fare even worse, with revenues from advertising declining by 7.5 per cent.

Within advertising revenues, actual digital revenues are expected to increase by 14.3 per cent.
