Jamhouse owner set to party as rise in admissions helps it to reach targets

NIGHTCLUB operator Luminar, which owns the Lava & Ignite and Jamhouse venues in Edinburgh, has said it is on course to meet or exceed its three-year targets.
The company, which caters for the 18-24 age group, which represents 80 per cent of its customer base, reported that admissions had increased 6.4 per cent on a like-for-like basis to 13.9 million.

It also saw its gross margins increase by 0.7 per cent to 83.6 per cent.

Chief executive Stephen Thomas said that the company is confident of delivering further progress in the current year.
