Tighter rules on derivatives

THE Financial Services Authority is to introduce stronger disclosure rules on derivative positions used to build stakes in companies.
After receiving feedback on a consultation, the FSA said it would demand that existing shareholdings and contracts for difference in the same company be aggregated and disclosed at over 3 per cent of the share capital.
