SHE barely has her feet under her new desk but already Fiona Lowrie is leading Forth Photonics in new directions.
Lowrie is taking the bio-photonics company into a new global headquarters at Edinburgh Technopole, the site set-up by Edinburgh University and Grosvenor, the property company.

Forth's technology is used as part of a system to screen for and detect
cervical cancer. The company was set up six years ago by Professor Costas Balas.

Lowrie said: "Scotland boasts an excellent reputation, experience and skills in the bio-tech sector, which made locating here a very easy decision".
