MacAskill to meet lawyers

KENNY MacAskill, the justice minister, has agreed to meet lawyers in Glasgow on Monday – 24 hours before a threatened work-to-rule that threatens chaos in Scotland's busiest sheriff court.
But Mr MacAskill said he is unlikely to budge on their demands to renegotiate legal aid fees. He told The Scotsman: "I'm quite happy to meet the Glasgow Bar Association. But the introduction of summary justice reform is non-negotiable."

The work-to-rule has been called by the Glasgow association.

He is the Scottish Justice Minister. Labour lost btw, have you noticed yet? They are about to lose in England as well so maybe you should get used to it.

He wants to meet with us so that he can go to the press and say that he TRIED and that we are UNREASONABLE.
