Hinton moves on

Johnston Press director Les Hinton has resigned from the media group's board to take up a new position as chief executive of Dow Jones in New York.
The Edinburgh-based firm, which owns The Scotsman, as well as hundreds of regional titles, acknowledged the "considerable contribution" Hinton has made to the board.
