THE search for a successor to Michael Grade at ITV has intensified, with headhunters reportedly having narrowed down the field to six candidates.
The US executive search firm Russell Reynolds had been asked by the board "to look outside of the sector and outside the UK as well as inside the sector and inside the UK".

Two internal candidates on the shortlist are Rupert Howell, the commercial director, and John Cresswell, the chief operating officer.
