A LEADING energy specialist is to move into a flagship office development in the city centre.

Senergy had signed a five-year sub-lease for 2565 square feet of space at 40 Princes Street, the redevelopment of the former C&A building that now houses fashion chain H&M.

The seventh floor space was sub-let from Aberdeen Asset Management at a rate of £27.50 per sq ft and will be the company's first office in the Capital city.

Geoff Scott, surveyor at Jones Lang LaSalle, which acted for Senergy, said: "There are very few open plan suites of this size and quality in the city centre, and this is one of the best, it has great views across the Edinburgh skyline overlooking Edinburgh Castle."

Ryden acted as agent for Aberdeen Asset Management for the deal.
