MILLER Construction has appointed a new head of its public private partnership unit.
Mark Baxter takes on the role of director of the unit after previously holding the roles of associate director and finance manager of the unit.

Mr Baxter has been involved in over £1.5billion of PPP projects, including new-build education projects for Edinburgh, Fife and Inverclyde councils.

Alan Scott, finance director, said: "The construction industry is currently facing a challenging but exciting time. It is increasingly important that we work together in a close partnership basis with local authorities, health trusts and education providers.

"Mark will enable us to focus on establishing strong partnerships and further develop our reputation for the successful delivery of PPP/PFI projects."
