GSI delays its expansion bid

A MANUFACTURING firm based in the Capital has put a plan to expand in Fife on hold following the economic slowdown.
GSI Corporation said potential investors had been holding back from making a commitment to the creation of a new £6 million manufacturing plant in Dalgety Bay.
However, the company's managing director Neil Fraser said he was still confident an agreement could be made that would create 57 jobs in the west Fife town.
He said: "Until we have commitment from investors we can't say when things will go ahead."
