INDUSTRIAL leaders today urged the government to use next month's Pre-Budget Report to help industry recover from the recession while paving the way for a more "balanced" economy.
The Engineering Employers Federation (EEF) said public finances must be restored, while productive sectors of the economy should be supported.

The business group said in a submission in advance of next month's report that the government should maintain policy measures that had helped put a "floor" under the recession.
