Peter, lost output does not mean Loss as the opposite of Profit!
The oil which was not pumped out of the North Sea is still there. Perhaps we should keep our Scottish oil in the ground and like the US Government use someone elses oil.Think how much more 'our' oil would be worth if we had left it as a reserve or collateral?
