Council ticks university plan

COUNCIL officials have approved plans for a multi-million pound redevelopment of an Edinburgh university campus.
Work on Napier University's Sighthill campus is due to be completed at the start of the academic year in 2010.

The faculties of health, life and social sciences will be based at the new site as part of Napier's £100 million estates strategy.

The campus will be used by 5000 students and staff.
