City 'ignoring' dock objectors

AN influential environmental group believes it is being ignored over proposals to develop Leith Docks.
Greener Leith has accused Edinburgh City Council of "rubber stamping" multi-million pound plans to turn the area into a thriving residential and business area.

A spokesman for the group said: "We're not convinced we're going to have any influence over the process whatsoever."

The group has objected to aspects of the development and representatives will speak at this week's council planning committee.
