Deadline day for prime site

PROPERTY expert DTZ has set a July 24 closing date for a development opportunity at Loaninghill outside Broxburn.
The 14-acre site, next to the A89 and close to Uphall Station, was previously allocated as industrial land but has recently been reviewed and has been reallocated as part of the Livingston Countryside belt.
DTZ are expecting offers in excess of £250,000 for the site, which is being offered on the basis of outright purchase, although a standard security in favour of Oatridge College will be held over the land to protect any future development potential that may occur.
DTZ Director, John Brown said the site, which is close to existing houses in Uphall, had already attracted "significant" interest from developers.
