THE Scottish Construction Centre has appointed a new director.
Professor Malcolm Horner is the first senior appointment made by the SCC board since it was created last August.
He has been seconded from the department of civil engineering at the University of Dundee.
He said: "The SCC is playing a leading role in helping the industry to further enhance its performance. Never has this been more important than during these difficult times."
