BURDICA Biomed has signed a multi-million pound development and licensing contract with an unnamed European medical devices manufacturer.
The Edinburgh-based bio-technology company will supply the base material for a gel filler, which will be injected into clients for lip enhancement and wrinkle reduction. Burdica uses hyaluronic acid for anti-ageing treatments, lubrication and controlled delivery of drugs.

The new product is expected to be registered next year.
