A BRITON launched an online auction of his "entire life" yesterday in an effort to make a new start following the break-up of his marriage.
Ian Usher, who emigrated to Australia six years ago, is selling his house, car, job and even his friends to the highest bidder on eBay.

Up for auction is his three-bedroom home in the western Australian city of Perth and everything in it, his car, motorcycle and jet ski.

He is also selling an introduction to his friends and a trial run at his job.

Mr Usher, 44, said: "I intend to walk out of my door with my wallet in one pocket and my passport in the other."

Mr Usher, who was born in Darlington, announced his plan to sell his life online earlier this year, saying almost everything about his current life reminded him of his relationship with his wife.

#1 weeshooie.

If the bid is only up to $100k so far, he's not doing too well. The median price for houses in Perth is around $500k at the moment. Maybe he should throw his wife in as well. Then again, that might decrease the bids.

#1 I assume you mean $1,000,000. It's was actually sitting at $1,700,000 when I looked at it yesterday.

From the headline, I thought that man was selling his "lifestyle" and "personality".

It would have been a tragedy if he turned ou to be a crashing bore with no redeeming social skills whatsoever.
