A MAN who subjected two young boys from a disturbed background to a catalogue of abuse after they were placed in foster care was jailed today for six years.
Kenneth Wilson preyed on the children from the age of five and six after "teaching" them how to perform sex acts.

Wilson, 27, of Dunbar, had previously admitted sexually assaulting one youngster over a nine-year period and indecent behaviour towards a second boy.

At the High Court in Edinburgh today, temporary judge Roger Craik QC said the effect of the abuse on the boys must have been "devastating."

He told Wilson he would have jailed him for eight years for the offences, but for his guilty plea.

The judge also ordered that Wilson be kept under supervision for a further two years after the prison sentence.
