Backing for homes plan

PLANS for a new 50 home development in East Linton have been lodged with East Lothian Council.
Community groups hope the new development will be favourably received by councillors, as they are currently fighting to reopen the village railway.
Miller Homes Scotland East Region Ltd has lodged a planning application with East Lothian Council to build 50 properties – 46 houses and four flats – on farmland to the south-west of the village, at Orchardfield.
