THE new phase of a £2 million technology centre expansion has secured its first new tenant.
The Midlothian Innovation Centre at Roslin is aimed at being a business village for growing technology companies.
The 4000 square feet ground floor has been snapped up by Arrayjet, an expanding robotics development company. The remaining 8000 sq ft is under offer.
Murdo Mackenzie, executive chairman of the Innovation Centre's owners, New Park Management, said: "Arrayjet has moved in and we are in talks with others who want to lease or buy the rest."
The extension has been financed by the Dunfermline Building Society and New Park has a further 30,000sq ft which could be developed. There are already 60 companies with a total workforce of 250 at the Innovation Centre.
