INFRARED technology company Pyreos has secured a £1 million pay-out from investors, allowing the business to move towards commercialisation.
The Capital-based firm has developed an infrared sensor aimed at the security and petrochemical sectors. The company said the funds would help secure long-term supply contracts and £8 million in initial orders by May.
Founder Jeff Wright said: "We have made good commercial and technical progress so far and now seek to capitalise on that progress with the new funding."
