Microsphere in Swedish deal
MICROSPHERE Technologies has signed a licensing agreement with Sweden's Trelleborg Engineered Systems.
The deal, worth more than $1 million (£501m), involves hollow glass microspheres.
The two companies will collaborate in the development of new paint additives for the global civil aerospace market. They hope to reduce the weight of aircraft in order to help them save fuel. Microsphere Technology is based on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
