AXIS Shield, the Dundee-based medical testing company, is expecting 27 per cent revenue growth for the first half of 2008.
The group, which develops and manufactures diagnostic kits for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes, said the revenue increase included the contribution from its Swiss subsidiary – but added that underlying sales were also up, by 14 per cent.

It added it was making a "significant investment" in sales and marketing infrastructure.
