THE award-winning Dragonfly cocktail bar in West Port, just off the Grassmarket, has been put up for sale.
Christie and Co is handling the sale of the leasehold, with offers over £125,000 being sought.

It was voted Most Stylish Bar at the Scottish Style Awards in 2006, and won the Best Interior Design gong at the Theme Bar and Restaurant Awards Scotland 2005.

It is run by Blue Steel, the company fronted by entrepreneurial bar owners Kyles Dignall, Brendan Denahy and Anthony Boyle, which runs the Villager on George IV Bridge and The Voodoo Rooms above Cafe Royal.

Barry McNeil, associate director of Christie and Co, said: "Understandably, there is a mixture of emotions as (our clients] have now finally decided to place Dragonfly on the market after nearly four years of ownership."
