The people in fear are us, the public who voted for these fools who pay no price for being wrong.

Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING is shooting up in cost to the point that we are in a state of panic. To make matters worse incomes are dropping and house values are tumbling.

Car tax is doubling for me over the next year, staple foods have increased at rates well above inflation, I wonder how the BofE gets its 'inflation' figures!!

The cost of regulation of financial services is doubling exponentially to an estimated £50 billion by 2010, and what have we got to show for it? Northern Rock, Equitable Life, Standard Life and many others.

I wish I could afford to move somewhere with a more sensible government, if there is one!!

Every government has to live with the ups and downs of the World economy - ours is much more stable than most.[You should see how fast the USA population is deserting Bush because petrol has increased to half the UK pump cost.]

Gordon Brown has inherited a declining economy which he is more capable of managing than any other politico.

Blair left him with a pile of crap and now the legacy of Cherie's autobiography. She was ugly as the wife of the PM and has proved to be even uglier in her druthers. How soon will I pick up her book on the remainder stall?
