BUDGET airline Ryanair is to increase its luggage charges by 50 per cent from 1 October.
The charge for bags carried in the aircraft hold will rise from £20 to £30 for luggage checked-in at the airport. Online check-in for hold baggage charges will rise from £10 to £15.

Ryanair's Stephen McNamara said: "These baggage fees are avoidable by passengers who choose to travel with carry-on luggage only. Over 70 per cent of our passengers will be totally unaffected as they already travel with just one carry-on bag, which is free of charge."

We have not increased our fares - just increased !!!

These are the people who complain about airports increasing their charges.

I suggest Manchester etc inrease their charges for luggage handling by 30% per passenger.
