AIR passengers flying from Scotland have been given their first chance to use mobile phones inflight after no-frills airline Ryanair equipped 20, mainly Dublin-based, aircraft for the service, launched yesterday.
It will be restricted initially to O2 mobile customers, with call rates of £1.50 to £3 a minute and text messages for 40p.
