THE chaos surrounding the opening of Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport last week is expected to cost British Airways about £16 million, the airline said yesterday.
However, it stressed this was far less than the cost of earlier fog-caused disruption at Heathrow and T5 was now running "very well". There was also no sign that bookings had dipped following the debacle, George Stinnes, BA's group treasurer said.

A full Saturday service – when slightly fewer flights take off and land – was expected to operate tomorrow.
