LLOYDS TSB came under fire yesterday after announcing plans to offshore 250 of full-time technology jobs to India.
Unite said the decision would also affect 195 contractors and temporary staff, describing the move as "unjustified."

Lloyds TSB said: "Information technology is the backbone of our business and by combining the diverse skills of our staff with those of other companies we can provide the best possible service."

The job cuts will affect offices in Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Haywards Heath, Gloucester, Andover and Brighton.
