Yup, the smoking ban is really paying off.....NOT :)
Archie...thankyou for those kind words....but......this was planned.....the objective was to get people out of social situations like pubs etc......where people for centuries have talked about what was happening in the world around them and have them give sit in their houses and watch the box....AKA mind propaganda......you will work it out when the flu strikes and Marshal law is declared.Right now we are being sprayed on a daily basis by a mix of immune destroying chemicals called Chemtrails.......you may have noticed loads of people having re occurring flu like symptoms.I give it less than a year tops before the really nutty stuff starts happening. If you check into the history of the 1918 flu...which by the way cost the lives of possibly 100 million people throughout the world.....you will find that the people least likely to die were the older generations and would you believe....the smokers. They worked out that because smokers had a layer of tar particles etc on the lungs......it actually worked as a filter.Though I'm not advocating people run out to the shops and start lighting up cigs.....go research yourself. While your at it, check out where they tracked down the source of the original 1918 flu outbreak started......you will find it was tracked back to an American army training camp, that was getting young recruits ready before transportation via ships to Europe.Strangely enough a few years ago I'm sure you will remember some scientists looking for the original strain of the 1918 flu, so they could apparently find an antidote to it....should it ever re appear........and surprise surprise what happens in the last couple of years. If you think what i have said is nuts....please feel free to explain your thoughts that while the amount of people smoking has reduced drastically in the last few years..............we are being told that the amount of people who will have cancer is to increase by 50% by 2020.Wh
The operators may be losers but so are the people. This is not all about money and profits, it's also about people. Many thousands have been adversely affected by having sources of contentment removed by the smoking ban.Exaggerations by anti-smoking groups supported by SE are considered more important than the needs and social environment of people. For all the hype about the poisons in tobacco I've never seen anyone overdose on them and I'm sure no smoke affected asthmatic is stupid enough to enter smoke-friendly venues. Too many decisions are being made for us.This incompetent SE insult our intelligence, let's have a Country that values and respects ALL it's people.
Heres a cheery wee vid to draw a picture for the doubters.....probably your best spent 30 minutes of your weekend :) http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-34328948283042...
Dear Scotsman, why did you delete Archie's comment@2........ i was not in the least offended by his wonderful insight :)
As a former smoker and so someone who can see both sides of the coin I am in agreement with the ban on smoking.I used to go to the cinema when smoking was allowed, then the cinema auditoriums were split in two and made smoking and none smoking what a farce that was.Eventually they made all cinemas fully none smoking. This as far as im aware did not reduce the number of people attending cinemas or cause them to be closed down.In fact from what I remember the cause of closure was many of them being turned into Bingo Halls through natural reduction in cinema goers due to the convenience of television at home.If some of the bingo halls close down maybe they will change back into Cinemas again or maybe into local theatres.Remember this is not just being done to annoy smokers its their to help peoples healthlNo one wants to die of cancer, or have lung problems such as asthma, bronchitus or emphesima, do they?Come on Stub it out and enjoy fresh air and fun gaming.
