SCOTTISH Water is to spend £260,000 replacing water mains in East Lothian.
The section of pipework runs through the villages of Pencaitland to New Winton.
Scottish Water project manager, Robin Gallacher, said: "We understand the frustration felt by customers in this part of East Lothian and that's why we're investing £264,000."
"Over the next 10 weeks my team will be replacing nearly a mile of ageing mains with new durable plastic pipes."
