SMG's rights issue on mark

STV owner SMG has confirmed that its rights issue raised the £95.1 million it had expected.
The firm received acceptances for 361 million shares, a total take-up of 57 per cent. The rest of the shares will be bought at the issue price of 15p a share by buyers sourced by underwriter Hoare Govett. ITV did not buy any.
