TRAVEL firm Wilderness Scotland has reported a dramatic 37 per cent rise in sales, which it said has been helped by the economic downturn.
The Edinburgh-based operator believes the recession is spurring people to look for more purpose to their holidays.

Co-owner Neil Birnie said: "Holidaymakers are making a positive choice to try something different, explore what is on their doorstep and go green in the process.

The St Vincent Street firm encourages people to holiday in Scotland's "wilderness".
