CAR rental firms at Scotland's busiest airport have been brought under one roof to create one of the largest centres of its kind in the UK.
The £10 million development at Edinburgh airport was opened yesterday by Penny Mallory, a rally driver and presenter of the Used Car Roadshow on ITV4.

The nine car-hire firms at the airport have moved to the new building, situated south of the multistorey car park and linked to the terminal via a covered walkway. The complex includes a new pick-up and return area beside the Hilton Hotel.

Gordon Dewar, the airport's managing director, said: "It will mean a more efficient, seamless service."

The move is also expected to cut traffic on airport roads.
