A NEW credit card will be launched on Monday offering cash back on essential purchases such as fuel and groceries.
The new Abbey credit card offers 3 per cent cash back on supermarket and petrol purchases for the first six months, zero per cent on balance transfers for the first nine months and the same on purchases for the first three months.

After those introductory periods the interest will be 18.9 per cent APR on all balance transfers and purchases.

Card holders will have a one month wait after purchase to receive cash back, which can be up to £75 (£12.50 a month) in the first six months.

For details ask your local branch or call 0800 032 4265.
