BSKYB has criticised a proposal by Ofcom, the regulator, to make its top-flight football and film content available to other broadcasters and says it will take all "available legal avenues" to challenge the decision.
In the latest update on the long-running investigation into the British pay-TV market, which first opened in March 2007, Ofcom proposes a "wholesale-must-offer" system. This would require BSkyB to offer its premium channels on a wholesale basis to retailers.
