Suite new role for Maurice

HOTEL operator BDL Management has appointed Maurice Plommer as general manager of Princes Street Suites, the luxury serviced apartments.

Mr Plommer, who was brought up in London Ontario, Canada, has 24 years of experience in the hospitality and travel industry, spanning a career that has seen him work for some of the most established hotel groups in both Scotland and Canada.

His broad experience is the culmination of a variety of roles, including conference and events manager, rooms division manager and revenue manager.

On taking up his first role in Edinburgh, Mr Plommer said: "This was too good an opportunity to miss. Roles that provide clients with such a fantastic offering are few and far between and I am looking forward to working with a strong team."
