JOHNSTON Press, the owner of The Scotsman, has appointed Mark Pain as a non-executive director and chairman of its audit committee.
Pain is finance director of Barratt Developments and a non-executive director of Punch Taverns. He was finance director at Abbey National from 1998 to 2001.
