CLYDESDALE Bank has completed a £2 million funding deal with MacLeod Hotels. The investment is expected to create up to 35 jobs on the Isle of Skye.
MacLeod was established as a family business and runs Skye's first boutique-style hotel, the Bosville. The Portree-based firm recently purchased the Broadford hotel and the Marmalade - a new hotel concept located within the 200-year-old Portree House. Staff number are set to grow to more than 120.
