Scots queuing for Eurostar

EUROSTAR fares booked direct from Scotland's two largest cities have soared in the past six months, new figures have revealed.
From Glasgow, the number of tickets were up 54 per cent, while sales direct from Edinburgh were 49 per cent higher. Overall, Eurostar ticket sales were up 25 per cent for the first half of 2008 to £368.8 million.

7-8 hours or so Edinburgh-Paris on NXEC and Eurostar.

Less than two hours on Easyjet, and Easyjet will probably be cheaper as well.

How long by bus?
It shows that longer journey times by are now becoming more competitive with air so 500 miles is now becoming a rail market.

Don't hear much about the buses.

Easy Jet Cheaper.
Take all the 'extras' easyjet adds and where their 'Paris' airport is, and the relative comfort and ......
Get wise busman your letting diesel fumes clog up your thought process.

and of course Eurostar is INCREASING its service to Europe.
