AIRLINE easyJet yersterday apologised after check-in staff refused to allow a six-year-old girl to carry a teddy bear onto a plane.
Alba Apreciado-Peris, of Willingham, Cambridgeshire, was told that her bear Bebe was too big and would have to travel in the hold. Her mother Amparo Peris-Bordes, 38, was told that the bear was too big when flying from Glasgow to Stansted earlier this month.

She decided to post the bear – a present given to her daughter during a visit to Scotland.

A spokesman for easyJet said the company had apologised.
