MOBILE phone users in parts of the Lothians are facing further disruption after a power outage on Monday afternoon left them without a signal for almost 24 hours.
A fault with power units on the O2 network caused it to close down in parts of Fife and areas to the east of Edinburgh between Monday lunch time and late Tuesday morning.

A spokesman for O2 has confirmed that the network will be shut down for one hour at some point after midnight on Thursday for further repairs to take place.

Oh no! Not almost 24 Hours!

I'm with Orange and I'm lucky to get a signal anywhere in the house at all. I have a nice wee phone caddy that sits sellotaped to the window.
